This technique is based on familiar yoga postures that use the body's own resistance to lengthen, strengthen, realign and reshape one's body. First developed by Bob Cooley, the resistance strength and flexibility system has been used by Olympic athletes as well as people rehabbing from serious injuries.
Yogis have always known the power of yoga as a transformational practice to realign one's body, mind and spirit. Yogis have also known that yoga affects the organs of the body by opening up energy pathways through the meridians that run through corresponding muscle groups. Our sessions are specifically and personally designed for each client and address individual concerns. We work with the client's own resistance so there is no risk of injury. Using this technique, small deep muscles are stretched and strengthened allowing for structural realignment and healing to begin.
By freeing the joints and the muscles that support them, energy is allowed to flow through the body rather than being bottled up or stuck. After one session you feel both worked and energized at the same time.

My personal training sessions are always a positive experience both physically and psychologically. Even on days when I am tired or not feeling well, I leave feeling energized and much better. I do not consider the personal training a luxury; I feel for me it is a necessity. The nutritional advice has also proved to be beneficial. My goal when I began with you was to lose weight, strengthen my core and improve my fitness level, all in an effort to avoid back surgery.
